The shaded part of the diagram on each ON/OFF key indicates the element it controls. • To turn an element on, press lightly on the ON/OFF ON/OFF key for the desired element, then press either the UP (▲) or DOWN (▼) heat level control key. The element will come on at a setting of "5" as indicated by the lights above the numbers.
