Before You Call for Service Problem Solution Guide - Oven (cont.) Problem Oven will not heat. Foods over or under cook. Oven shuts off by itself after it has been on for 12 hours. Time on display not correct. Time flashes on display. Cannot set clock. Oven does not self clean. Oven light does not work (burners light and oven works OK). Oven light will not turn off. Cooling fan continues to run after oven is turned off. Sabbath mode does not work. Oven door will not open. Error code (a letter followed by two numbers) appears on display, for example "U55." May Be Caused By What to Do Oven setting not correct. Touch CANCEL · SECURE. Follow instructions in Operating the Oven section. Oven set for delay timed cooking. Oven will turn on automatically at preset time. Touch CANCEL · SECURE to return to normal operation. Attempting to broil with meat probe connected. Broil and convection broil settings will not work when meat probe is connected. Disconnect meat probe. Incorrect cooking time or tempera- Follow instructions in Operating the Oven ture. section. 12 hour timer is on. Unit is set to turn off automatically after 12 hours of continuous use. Light bulb burned out. Replace light bulb. See Care and Cleaning section. Light key is set to on. Touch light key to turn light off. Normal operation. Cooling fan may run for a while after oven is turned off, until internal parts have cooled. Meat probe connected. Oven will not start Sabbath mode when meat probe is connected. Disconnect and remove meat probe. Oven is set to self clean. Check display. If lock symbol appears on display oven door cannot be opened. Wait for oven to complete self clean process or touch CANCEL · SECURE. Door will unlock once oven has cooled. The oven controller has detected a malfunction. Error code "C33" may be caused by leaving oven door open during cooking or broiling. Allow oven to cool and "C33" error to reset. Do not leave door open for long periods during cooking and keep door shut during broil. Other error codes indicate a problem that cannot be resolved by the customer. Call for service. 27
