TROUBLESHOOTING Occasionally, a problem is minor and a service call may not be necessary- use this troubleshooting guide for a possible solution. If the unit continues to operate improperly, call an authorized service depot or Danby's Toll Free Number 1-800-263-2629 for assistance. PROBLEM 1) The Party Center does not operate. POSSIBLE CAUSE • Not plugged in • The appliance is turned off • No power to unit 2) The Party Center is not cold enough. • Check the temperature control setting • External environment may require a cooler setting. • The door is opened too often • The door is not closed completely • The door gasket does not seal properly 3) Turns on and off frequently. • The room temperature is hotter than normal. • A large amount of beverage has been added to the Party Center • The door is opened too often • The door is not closed completely • The temperature control is not set correctly • The door gasket does not seal properly 4) The light does not work. • Not plugged in • No power • The light button is "OFF" SOLUTIONS • Plug in the unit. • Press the ON button. • Reset circuit breaker; check fuses • Adjust setting as needed • Adjust setting as needed • Limit open door duration • Close door securely • Ensure the gasket is clean • This is normal • Limit amount of warm beverage introduced at one time • Limit amout of door openings • Close door securely • Adjust setting as needed • Ensure the gasket is clean • Plug in the unit • Reset circuit breaker; check fuses • Switch light button to "ON" 5) Vibrations. • Ensure that the Party Center is level. • Level the Party Center; see pg 2 "Installation Instructions" 6) The Party Center seems to make too much noise. • The rattling noise may come from the flow of the refrigerant, which is normal. As each cycle ends, you may hear gurgling sounds caused by the flow of refrigerant in your Party Center. • Contraction and expansion of the inside walls may cause popping and crackling noises. • The Party Center is not level • This is normal • This is normal • Level the party center 8
