4 Starting and Stopping the DFM on Windows 7 This section describes how to start and stop the DFM on Windows 7. For Linux CentOS, the DFM is automatically started after you have successfully installed the software. To start the DFM on Windows 7: 1. Navigate to the Start > All Programs > Dell > Dell Fabric Manager > Start Server menu. 2. Right click on the Start Server option and then select the Run as Administrator menu. To stop the DFM on Windows 7: 1. Navigate to the Start > All Programs > Dell > Dell Fabric Manager > Stop Server menu. 2. Right click on the Stop Server option and then select the Run as Administrator menu. 15
