www.dell.com | support.dell.com Overview The Dell™ 65-W AC/DC combination adapter allows you to power and charge your portable computer in your home, office, car, boat, or in an airplane. The adapter connects your computer to a power source via an AC power cable or a DC power cable. The DC power cable connects via either an automobile cigarette lighter adapter or an empower® type adapter used on aircraft. Contents: • 65-W AC/DC Combination Adapter Kit • One Dell 65-W AC/DC combination adapter • One standard AC power cable • One 4-pin DC power cable • One DC automobile cigarette lighter adapter • Black carrying case for your combination adapter Features The Dell 65-W AC/DC combination adapter has the following features: • DC input power capability allows you to power and charge your computer using a standard automobile cigarette lighter adapter, a 4-pin in-flight power receptacle, or a standard AC electrical outlet. • An optional peripheral power adapter cable allows you to power a number of common peripherals, such as personal digital assistants (PDAs) and cellular phones (see www.dell.com for details). Adapter Accessories Several accessories for the Dell 65-W AC/DC combination adapter can be purchased from Dell Inc. or from Mobility Electronics Inc.: • Additional AC power cables for other countries (in case you travel worldwide) • Optional peripheral power adapter cables for cellular phones and PDAs To order any of these accessories, contact Dell Software and Peripherals at 1-800-753-7201 in the U.S. or on the Internet at www.dell.com.
