Prerequisites 1 Remove the base cover. 2 Remove the battery. 3 Remove the hard drive. 4 Remove the wireless card. 5 Remove the coin-cell battery. Procedure 1 Disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O board. 2 Disconnect the power and volume-buttons board cable from the I/O board. 3 Remove the screw that secures the I/O board to the palm rest and keyboard assembly. 50

Prerequisites

Remove the
base cover

Procedure
1
Disconnect the I/O-board cable from the I/O board.

Disconnect the power and volume-buttons board cable from the I/O
board.

Remove the screw that secures the I/O board to the palm rest and
