CAUTION: To avoid electrostatic discharge, ground yourself by using a wrist grounding strap or by periodically touching an unpainted metal surface. CAUTION: To help prevent damage to the system board, remove the main battery (see Removing the Battery) before working inside the computer. Display Assembly Removing the Display Assembly 1. Follow the procedures in Before You Begin. 2. Remove the battery (see Removing the Battery). 3. Remove the module cover (see Removing the Module Cover). 4. Disconnect the Mini-Card antenna cables (see step 4 in Removing the Mini-Card). 5. Note of the routing of the Mini-Card antenna cables and remove them from the routing guides on the bottom of the computer. 6. Remove the two screws on the bottom of the computer that secure the display assembly to the computer base. 1 screws (2) 2 Mini-Card antenna cable routing 7. Remove the power button panel (see Removing the Power Button Panel). 8. Remove the keyboard (see Removing the Keyboard).
