Procedure 1 Close the display and turn the computer over. 2 Slide the battery-release latches to the unlock position. 1 battery 2 battery-release latches (2) 3 Using your fingertips, lift the battery at an angle and remove the battery off the battery bay. 4 Turn the computer over and open the display as far as possible. 5 Press and hold the power button for 5 seconds after the computer is unplugged to ground the system board. 14

Procedure

Close the display and turn the computer over.

Slide the battery-release latches to the unlock position.
