Procedure 1 Replace the optical-drive interposer on the computer base. 2 Follow the procedure from step 1 to step 3 in "Replacing the speakers". 3 Route the antenna cables through the slot on the computer base. 4 Press the computer base down along the edges to snap it into place. 5 Replace the screws that secure the computer base to the palm-rest assembly. 6 Turn the computer over and open the display. 7 Replace the screws that secure the computer base to the palm-rest assembly. 8 Slide the optical-drive cable in the connector and press down on the latch to secure the cable. Post-requisites 1 Replace the keyboard. 2 Replace the wireless card. 3 Replace the hard drive. 4 Replace the base cover. 5 Replace the optical drive. 6 Replace the battery. 46
