Procedure

Close the display and turn the computer over.

Loosen the captive screws that secure the base cover to the palm-rest
assembly.
3
Remove the screws that secure the base cover to the palm-rest
assembly.
4
Using a plastic scribe, pry the base cover from the palm-rest assembly.
5
Lift the base cover off the computer.
