Search Tap the Search icon on the Home screen to open Search. Using Search To perform a simple search: 1. In the Home screen, tap the Search icon to open Search. 1 Search icon 2. Enter your search terms and tap the Search icon to begin the search. You can also find the Search bar at the top of the Home screen. 3. The search results are sorted by categories and listed in tabs. Tap the tabs to view the search results. To perform an advanced search: 1 Tap the Search icon on the Home screen to open Search. 2 Press the Options button and tap Advanced. The Advanced Search screen appears. 3 Select the drop-down menu to select your search preference: Contacts, Message, Email, File, Call log, or Web History. The Advanced Search screen appears. 4 Enter the search terms and tap Search to begin search. Index Use Index to view the number of records you have in each program. 1 In the Home screen, tap the Search icon to open Search. 2 Press the Options button and tap Index on the Options panel. The Index statistic screen appears.
