Leave time is activated by a Leave All Time message sent/received, and cancelled by the Join message received. Leave time must be greater than or equal to three times the join time. Defining GARP Timers 1 Open the GARP Timers page. 2 Complete the fields. 3 Click Apply Changes. The GARP parameters are saved to the device. Copying Parameters in the GARP Timers Table 1 Open the GARP Timers page. 2 Click Show All to display the GARP Timers Table. 3 Select the interface type in the Copy Parameters from field. 4 Select an interface in either the Port or LAG drop-down menu. 5 The definitions for this interface will be copied to the selected interfaces. See step 6. 6 Check the Copy to check box to define the interfaces to which the GARP timer definitions are copied, or click Select All to copy the definitions to all ports or LAGs. 7 Click Apply Changes. The parameters are copied to the selected port ports or LAGs in the GARP Timers Table, and the device is updated.
