Next Steps After completing the initial configuration described in this section, you can connect the OOB port to your management network for out-of-band remote management, or you can connect any of the front-panel switch ports to your production network for in-band remote management. If you specified DHCP for the OOB or VLAN 1 management interface IP address, the interface will acquire its IP address from a DHCP server on the network. To discover the dynamically-assigned IP address, use the console port connection to issue the following commands: • For the OOB interface, enter show ip interface out-of-band. • For the VLAN 1 routing interface, enter show ip interface. To access the Dell OpenManage Switch Administrator interface, enter the OOB or VLAN 1 management interface IP address into the address field of a Web browser. For remote management access to the CLI, enter the OOB or VLAN 1 management interface IP address into a Telnet or SSH client.
