Menu Item Hardware Prefetcher DCU Streamer Prefetcher DCU IP Prefetcher Execute Disable Number of Cores per Processor Processor 64-bit Support Processor Core Speed Processor Bus Speed Description can disable this option for applications that require high utilization of random memory access. Allows you to enable or disable hardware prefetcher. By default, the Hardware Prefetcher option is set to Enabled. Allows you to enable or disable DCU streamer prefetcher. By default, the DCU Streamer Prefetcher option is set to Enabled. Allows you to enable or disable DCU IP prefetcher. By default, the DCU IP Prefetcher option is set to Enabled. Allows you enable or disable execute disable memory protection technology. By default, the Execute Disable option is set to Enabled. Port B Auto enables BIOS support for the device attached to SATA port B. Off disables BIOS support for the device. By default, Port B is set to Auto. Boot Settings Screen Menu Item Boot Mode Description Allows you to set the boot mode of the system. CAUTION: Switching the boot mode may prevent the system from booting if the operating system is not installed in the same boot mode. 15
