Deployments and upgrades of vCenter Server 7.0 conducted after April 18, 2020 are not impacted by this issue. For more information, see https://kb.vmware.com/s/article/2147284. BOSS ESXi CLI package fails when upgrading from Dell EMC customized versions of 6.7.x to version 7.0 Issue: When upgrading from vSphere versions of 6.7.x to version 7.0, sas-raid_boss-cli package update fails. Corrective Action: Remove the driver packages before attempting an upgrade using the command esxcli software vib remove -n . 26 Troubleshooting
