The information contained in this update explains the correct procedure for turning off power to the PowerVault 65xF Fibre Channel disk array processor enclosure (DPE) and supersedes the information contained in the installation and service guides. If a DPE is improperly turned off, you cannot save write cache data to the vault drives and a "cache dirty" condition can occur. When that happens, logical unit numbers (LUN) become inaccessible and the unsolicited event log displays a message such as: In addition, Dell OpenManage™ Data Supervisor and Dell OpenManage Data Administrator shows that the inaccessible LUN is unowned.
