PowerVault MD Dense Storage Arrays Software Installation Requirements NOTE: If you have an earlier version of MD Storage Manager installed on your system, you must uninstall the older version before installing the latest version of the MD Storage Manager available on the Resource Media. Required Resource Media Version To use the Dell PowerVault MD3260/MD3260i/MD3660i/MD3660f/MD3060e storage arrays, you must install the MD Storage Manager from the Resource Media for Dell PowerVault MD Series shipped with the system. CAUTION: Do not install software, utilities, or device drivers from any earlier versions of MD Series Resource Media.
