Follow the procedures in Before Working Inside Your Computer. 2. Remove the battery. 3. Remove the base cover. 4. Remove the wireless local area network (WLAN) card. 5. Remove the hard drive. 6. Remove the optical drive. 7. Remove the keyboard. 8. Remove the palm rest. 9. Flip the computer over and release the antenna cables from their routing guides on the computer. 10. With the right side of the computer facing up, disconnect the display cable from its connector on the system board.

Removing the Display Assembly
1.
Follow the procedures in
Before Working Inside Your Computer
.
2.
Remove the
battery
.
3.
Remove the
base cover
.
4.
Remove the
wireless local area network (WLAN) card
.
5.
Remove the
hard drive
.
6.
Remove the
optical drive
.
7.
Remove the
keyboard
.
8.
Remove the
palm rest
.
9.
Flip the computer over and release the antenna cables from their routing guides on the computer.
10.
With the right side of the computer facing up, disconnect the display cable from its connector on the system board.
