Steps 1 Go to www.dell.com/support. 2 In the Enter a Service Tag, Serial Number, Service Request, Model, or Keyword field, type the Service Tag or the model number of your device, and press Enter or click the search icon. 3 On the product support page, click Drivers & downloads. 4 Select the appropriate operating system. 5 From the list, locate the add-on entry and click the download icon. Install the BIOS add-on using Wyse Management Suite About this task Prerequisites • Go to C:\WMS\LocalRepo\repository\osImages\zipped and place the BIOS file. • On Wyse Management Suite, go to Portal administrator File repository > (select repository), and click sync files. Steps 1 Register the device to Wyse Management Suite version 1.3. 2 Create and deploy the merlin_nonpxe-3.7.7-00.05.x86_64.rpm app policy. 3 Reboot the thin client. 4 Go to Apps & Data > OS Image policies (ThinLinux) and click Add Policy. 5 Update the required fields, select the BIOS file, and click Save. 6 Schedule the image policy. BIOS is updated on the thin client after the add-on is successfully installed.
