NEW MODEL I N F O R M AT I O N AVR-3802 s Adjustable Cross-Over Switching The AVR-3802 supports subwoofer cross-over switching with a choice of 3 cross-over frequencies: 80, 100, and 120. This lets you more accurately match the performance characteristics of the subwoofer to the main speaker system. s Wide-Range Play Capability for DVD-Audio or SACD s 8-Channel Input For DVD-Audio or SACD s Surround A/B Speaker Switching s Support for Multi Zone Configurations The AVR-3802 provides a Multi Zone Output function and a Select function that let you output different sources to multiple zones. Sources can be selected for output to up to 1 additional zone, in addition to the main room. Multi-room Zone can have variable pre-amp output. The AVR-3802's Power Amplifier Assign function lets you assign the 2 Surround Back (SB L/R) amplifier channels to instead drive the Multiroom Zone powered speaker outputs, with 110 Watts per channel power output capability, while still providing 5 full amplifier channels to drive the main and surround speakers in the home theater room. s Personal Memory Plus s On Screen Display s Easy Operation with Programmable Remote Controller • Dot Matrix LCD (10 characters) Since the LC display on the remote controller is a dot matrix type, the characters are easier to read, and up to 10 characters can be displayed at any one time. • System Call System Call function to execute up to 29 successive pre-assigned commands at the single touch of a button. • Preset Memory (Over 100 Built-in Codes) Since the remote controller is preprogrammed with more than 100 remote control codes, you can use the AVR-3802's remote controller to operate not only DENON equipment but components made by other manufacturers as well. (Some components may not be supported by Preset Memory.) • Back light s Frequency Synthesis Tuning • 40-station AM/FM Random Preset Memory Tuning • Auto Preset Memory s Other Features • Cinema Equalizer • Music Surround Modes Including 7/5-Channel Stereo • "S" and Composite Video Switching • Component Video Switching (2 inputs, 1 output) • Tone Control Input/Output Terminals For Every A/V System s Audio Inputs 9 Sets Analog Input PHONO, CD, TUNER, DVD, VDP, TV/DBS, VCR-1, VCR-2/V.AUX, CDR/TAPE 1 Set 8-ch Analog EXT.
