NEW MODEL INFORMATION DMD-1000 MiniDisc Recorder Full-sized MD Recorder for Free-Style Digital Entertainment s High-Precision ADVANCED Super Linear Converter The DMD-1000 has been equipped with DENON's ADVANCED Super Linear Converter (ASLC) - a high accuracy D/A conversion system for maximum low level resolution and widest dynamic range. Found on Denon CD players, ASLC provides superb transparency and precise delineation of low level musical information. s Enhanced Dual-bit DELTA SIGMA 20-bit A/D Converter The DMD-1000 uses a 64-times oversampling, enhanced Dual-bit Delta Sigma 20-bit A/D converter that features substantially improved dynamic range compared to the conventional 16 bit A/D converters used in other digital recorders for maximum signal to noise ratio. s A Full Suite of MD Editing Functions q DIVIDE, COMBINE, MOVE, ERASE, DISC NAME ERASE, ALL NAME ERASE & UNDO q PROGRAM MOVE This function lets you move the recorded tracks by program. q REHEARSAL This function lets you check editing in advance. q DISC RECOVERY There are times when the recording time limit is reached even though the full disc capacity has not been used. The Disc Recovery function auto matically improves this situation so that most of the original recording time can be restored. s Auto REC Pause for Speedy Recording Operation This function automatically recognizes a blank disc and sets the DMD-1000 in REC Pause (standby) mode. Simply insert a blank disc, and the recording operation can be performed immediately. s A Full Array of Input/Output Terminals The DMD-1000's input terminals include two optical digital, one coaxial digital, and one analog input pair.
