Electrical Control panel ATA4 4. &A ZIT sia *:lima ON/OFF. Starts or Stops the appliance If power to the unit is interrupted, the unit will re-start automatically3 minutes after power is resumed. NOTE: If the Unit "beeps" several times in a row and the power light blinks, the internal safety shut-off has been activated and the unit must be drained. This is a rare occurrence and should rarely or never happen. MODE Control: Select the functions of the unit for: AUTO, COOL, DRY and HEAT. The appliance will go AUTO function the first time it is switched on and will remain in this mode until another program is chosen. AUTO (automatic mode): press the MODE key to select AUTO, and the microprocessor will select an ideal temperature and optimal function. "AUTO" is shown on the display and the light comes on. If the temperature of room is 76°F or above, "COOL" mode is activated automatically and the optimal fan speed is activated. If the room temperature is 75°F or below, the "FAN" mode is selected automatically and the optimal fan speed is activated. COOL (cooling mode): press the MODE key to select COOL and the "COOL" light will come on. USE the "UP" and "DOWN" keys to set the temperature desired. If the room temperature is higher than that selected, the appliance activates cooling. The compressor will start after 3minutes (during which only the ventilation function is active) If the room temperature is lower than that selected, the appliance activates the ventilation function. DRY (dehumidification mode): press the MODE key to select DRY and the "DRY" light comes on. The compressor will start and run for 10 minutes and stop for 4 minutes. The fan will go into middle speed first and thereafter the speed is adjustable. HEAT (heating mode): This is an optional function for appliances with heat pumps. Press the MODE key to select HEAT, and the "HEAT" light comes on. USE the "UP" and "DOWN" keys to set the temperature required. If the temperature of the air in the room is lower than that selected, the appliance activates the heating. SPEED option: press the "SPEED" key to adjust the fan speed (High/Medium) TIMER (timer mode) press the timer to program time and the "TIMER" light comes on while the timer is programmed. Before programming, make sure that the timer function has not been activated (the light must be off)! The following timer programs are available. a) Delayed power-on function (when the appliance is in stand-by [off] status) USE the "TIMER" keys to set the time period (0-24 hours) The appliance will start once time reaches setting value. b) Delayed power-off function (the appliances is in working status) The appliance will stop once time reach setting value. SLEEP (sleeping mode): To select "SLEEP", press the "SLEEP" key and the light will come on. Once the SLEEP function is selected, the selected temperature required will be increase by 2°F each hour to maximum of 4°F over two hours and then maintain at that temperature for the balance of the time set. OSC. (oscillating function): press the MODE key to select OSC. and the "OSC" light comes on. Once the OSC is selected, louvers will be oscillating from left and right automatically. WATER EVAPORATION. This appliance has a built-in Z-spray condensate exhaust system. All water collected under normal operating conditions will be evaporated out the exhaust hose. Please note this means that the air coming out of the exhaust hose will be laden with water vapor and moisture droplets. Be mindful of this when choosing your location to vent this hot air. Additionally, if the self-evaporation system is overcome by excessive moisture, the air conditioner will automatically shut off. The power light will blink and the air conditioner will beep repeatedly. Drain the tank by removing the black drain plug on the rear of the unit to restore normal operation.
