- Turn the thermostat to a warmer setting. Food in the refrigerator compartment is not cold - Make sure the food has been in the compartment for long enough to get cold (5-12 hours or more). - There is not enough room for airflow inside the refrigerator. Move items or remove items to facilitate airflow. - The door is open or does not close properly. Check the door gasket and make sure the door always closes completely. - The thermostat knob is on too low a setting. Set it to a colder setting. - Make sure the unit has adequate ventilation around it for hot air to escape. - The door has been opened and closed too often. Minimize the opening and closing of the door. Melted frost is leaking inside the refrigerator or on the floor - Make sure the drain mouth inside the refrigerator is not blocked - Make sure the drain pan behind the unit is in place on top of the compressor.
