Troubleshooting 1. I can't access the Internet. 1. Ensure that all cables are connected properly. Try a different Ethernet cable. 2. Check if you can access the web based configuration interface. If not, please refer to 2. I can't open the web based configuration interface. 3. Login to the web based configuration interface and go to General Setup > WAN and check that the connection type is correct. If you are unsure, please contact your Internet Service Provider (ISP). 4. Connect your computer directly to your modem and check if you can access the internet. If you can't, please contact your Internet service provider for assistance. 2. I can't open the web based configuration interface. Please ensure your computer is set to use a dynamic IP address. For Windows 7: Go to Start > Control Panel. Click View network status and tasks > Local Area Connection > Properties and double click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). Select Obtain an IP address automatically and choose Obtain DNS server address automatically and click OK. For Windows Vista: Go to Start > Control Panel. Click View network status and tasks > View Status > Properties and double click Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4). Select Obtain an IP address automatically and choose Obtain DNS server address automatically and click OK. 12
