A Quick Guide to Getting Started Before you begin • Set up your refrigerator Clean the inside of your appliance before using it. See CARE & CLEANING in your Use & Care Manual. To ensure safe food storage, allow the appliance to operate with the door closed for at least 8 hours before loading it with food. • Review the contents of your literature packet Your literature pack contains several items including the Use & Care Manual ,a PureAdvantage® Air Filter and Produce Keeper™ filter. See FILTER REPLACEMENT in your Use & Care Manual for information on how to install your water, air and Produce Keeper™ filters. • Before starting your refrigerator Remove tape and glue residue from surfaces before turning on the refrigerator. Choose a place that is near a grounded electrical outlet, allowing clearances for ease of installation, proper circulation, and plumbing and electrical connections. Care and cleaning • Clean your refrigerator with nonabrasive soapy water and a dishcloth. Rinse with clean water and a soft cloth. • Keep fresh air and clean water flowing by changing your filters every 6 months. • Why does my refrigerator seem to run continuously?
Your refrigerator is equipped with an energy-efficient variable
speed compressor that saves energy.
• The temperature is warmer or colder than preferred.
What can I do?
Simply adjust the temperature by 1 or 2 degrees and allow
24 hours for the temperature to stabilize. Check to ensure
food items are not blocking the air
ports as this will impact temperature
performance. Food placed within 1 inch
