16 Setting Surface Controls Setting the Wave-Touch™ cooktop The cooktop control provides 5 digital display windows to help set power levels for the cooking zones located on the cooktop. These settings work the same way as traditional knob settings except the settings are displayed in LED style displays. Available cooktop settings Your control provides 25 different settings for each heating zone (except the warmer zone). Some of these power levels include ON (0%) Fig. 1, Lo (10%) Fig. 2, 5.0 (medium 50%) Fig. 3, Hi (100%) Fig. 4. The hi+ and lo- keys provide incremental adjustments for more precise control when changing settings between the lower heat levels (Lo to 3.0 power levels). Higher heat level setting changes (between 3.0 to HI) will change much faster -Fig.5-. At these locations, you may choose to use the single inner heating ring only or you may add 1 or 2 more heating rings with each press of the BURNER SIZE key. The number of circles displayed at the element zone LED represents the number of heating rings available for that position. • 1 circle = single element • 2 circles = double element • 3 circles = triple element Fig.1 Fig. 3 Fig. 2 Fig. 4
