Alarm Operation This unit gives you the option of waking to an electronic Buzzer alarm, the AM/FM Radio, or the CD player. Notes: A.) Whichever alarm mode you select - BUZZER, CD or RADIO - will apply to both alarms. Refer to "Setting The Wake Up Times" on page 10. Adjust the wake up time(s) if necessary. B.) If you have any external device connected to the AUX IN jack, the alarm will automatically default to the Buzzer, even though the FUNCTION selector maybe set to the RADIO or CD position. Wake To Buzzer 1.) Set the FUNCTION selector to BUZZER position. 2.) Press the ALARM 1 and/or ALARM 2 buttons. The respective Alarm time flashes for few seconds, then returns to correct time. The ALM 1, ALM 2 or both indicators come 'On'. PROGRAM REPEAT RANDOM POWER FM STEREO PM ALM 1 ALM 2 3.) At the selected wake up time the electronic Buzzer turns 'On'. The ALM indicator flashes. PROGRAM REPEAT RANDOM POWER FM STEREO PM ALM 1 ALM 2 It will continue for 60 minutes and then turn 'Off'and reset itself for the following day. 4.) To stop the buzzer immediately, press the POWER button. The Buzzer stops and the alarm resets itself for the following day. 5.) To cancel the alarm completely press the ALARM 1 and/or ALARM 2 buttons once to turn 'Off'. The respective ALM indicator disappears. CKD9902_041707.p65 19 19 17/4/2007, 11:06
