Listening To Your iPod® IMPORTANT: To avoid any unwanted distortion when listening to your iPod® through the speaker of this system we recommend that you shut off the equalizer in the iPod® before inserting it in the docking station of this system. To shut off the iPod® equalizer, go to the "Main Menu" in your iPod® , scroll to the "Settings" menu, select the "EQ" setting and turn the EQ 'Off'. IMPORTANT iPod® ADAPTER INFORMATION The docking station in this system follows the Apple "Universal Well" design. This means that the adapter that was included with the 5G (5th generation) 30GB and 60GB iPod® with video capability, will fit into the docking well of this system. This system is supplied with 6 different inserts that can be fitted in the docking station. One insert serves only as a cover for the docking area to keep the connector free from dust when no iPod® will be connected for long periods of time. If you take your iPod® on a two-week vacation, place this "Dust cover"in the docking area until you return and use the system again. The other 5 inserts are designed for use with any 3rd generation (3G) or 4th generation (4G) dockable iPod® model, available as of January 2006, including the iPod® mini and the iPod® nano. 1.)
