Problem Solving Reading the indicators The projector is provided with the following two indicators which notify you of the operating status of the projector. The following tables show what the indicators mean and how to remedy the problems that they indicate. * If all indicators are switched off, check that the power cable is connected correctly and that the main power switch is on. (operation) indicator (warning) indicator When the (warning) indicator is lit or flashing warning/problem : Lit : Flashing Red Internal problem / Fan problem / Sensor problem / Cinema filter problem / Auto iris problem (Lit/off for 1 sec) Disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet. Then contact your dealer or the nearest address provided in the "International Warranty Conditions" section of the Safety Instructions/World-Wide Warranty Terms booklet. Red Lamp problem / Lamp on error / Lamp cover open error Check if the lamp is broken. p.44 (Lit/off for 0.5 sec) If the lamp is not broken Replace the lamp and then turn the power on. If the problem is still not solved after the lamp is replaced, stop using the projector and disconnect the power cable from the electrical outlet. Then contact your dealer or the nearest address provided in the "International Warranty Conditions" section of the Safety Instructions/World Wide Warranty Terms booklet. If the lamp is broken Contact your local dealer for further advice. Check that the lamp and the lamp cover are securely installed. When using above an altitude of about 1500 m, make sure you set the "High Altitude Mode" to "On". p.32 Red High internal temperature (overheating) The lamp will switch off automatically and projection will stop. Reading the indicators
The projector is provided with the following two indi-
cators which notify you of the operating status of the
projector.
The following tables show what the indicators mean
and how to remedy the problems that they indicate.
* If all indicators are switched off, check that the

When the

Instructions/World Wide Warranty Terms
booklet.
If the lamp is
not broken
Contact your local dealer for further advice.
