Restoring Factory Defaults If you customize the picture and sound but don't find your changes satisfactory, you can restore the system to its original settings. You should use this function only if necessary, because it may restore a number of settings you'd like to keep. Caution When you restore the settings, the audio, video, language, and source assign settings are returned to their original state. 1 Make sure the MAIN menu is displayed on the remote control, press the MENU button, then select Reset. You see this screen: Audio Video Language Preference Reset Reset System to Factory Default ESC Return Move Sel Enter Menu Exit 2 Press Sel (Select) to return to the factory default settings, or press the Menu button to cancel. 3 At the confirmation screen, select Yes. The AV controller restores its settings and shuts itself down. Note You can also restore the remote control to its original settings. See "Restoring Remote Control Factory Defaults" on page 83. 51
