Cleaning the Air Filter

Align slot with tab on air intake vent Make sure adhesive is secure 5 Replace the speaker cover. Cleaning the Air Filter Once the air filter is installed, you need to inspect it regularly. If the filter appears to be dirty, clean it as described below. Note Whenever you inpect the front air filter, you should also check the air filter on the left side of the TV and clean it if necessary. The location of this filter is shown in your User's Guide. You can clean the side filter using the same method that you use to clean the front filter. 1 Remove the right speaker cover. 2 If the filter looks dirty, clean it using one of these methods: • Use a computer vacuum cleaner or the upholstery brush attachment for your home vacuum cleaner to lightly vacuum the filter and remove the dust. If your home vacuum cleaner has an air bleed valve (located near the end of the hose where you attach the cleaning tools), you should open the valve to decrease the amount of suction. • Use a clean paintbrush with very soft bristles to lightly brush off any dust from the crevices. 3 Replace the speaker cover. Cleaning the Air Filter
