WARNING The printer is protected by a print head protector, a platen protector and two locking tabs during shipping. These protective items must be removed before you turn on the printer. Follow the steps in Figure 1-2. Also, you should install the paper feed knob. To install the knob, simply push it onto the shaft on the right side of the printer as shown in Figure 1-2. Figure I-2.
