Check the connections of the clock connectors and the settings of connected devices. This unit only supports 10MHz clock. A cyclical noise is being output. ee If a cyclical noise is being output when the unit is in clock sync mode, the connected device might not also be in clock sync mode. Check the connection status of the clock connectors and the clock settings of the connected device. USB connections with a computer Computer does not recognize this unit. ee See page 22 for information about supported operating systems. Operation with unsupported operating systems is not guaranteed. Digital recording is not possible on connected external equipment. ee You cannot record the digital audio signal as is from a disc that has such copy-protection. Noticeable difference in volume between CDs and Super Audio CDs. ee You might notice volume differences between ordinary CDs and Super Audio CDs. This is the result of differences between their data recording methods, mastering and authoring. When connected by optical, no sound or only static is output. ee This unit can only play two-channel audio signals. Check the signal format of the transmitting device. There is noise. ee Starting other applications during playback of an audio file may interrupt playback or cause noise. Do not start other applications during playback. ee When the unit is connected to a computer via a USB hub, for example, noise might be heard. If this occurs, connect the unit directly to the computer. Audio files cannot be played back. ee Connect the computer with this unit and switch to "USB in" before starting the audio playback software and audio file playback. Audio data might not play back correctly if you connect this unit with the computer or change its input to "USB in" after starting the audio playback software. Playback stopped working. ee Check the audio output device setting of the operating system. Try deleting the driver and reinstalling it. For details, see the ESOTERIC ASIO USB DRIVER Installation Guide included with the driver. Since this unit uses a microcontroller, external noise and other interference can cause the unit to malfunction. If this occurs, turn the unit off and wait about one minute before restarting operation from the beginning. 29

Clock sync
