ENGLISH TOOLS How to use accessories CAUTION When using tools, always place handle in upright position to raise vacuum to highest carpet setting. Brush roll will continue to turn when vacuum is turned on and handle is in upright position. Do not tilt vacuum forward while using tools. To avoid damage, do not set vacuum on carpet, carpeted stairs, furniture or fringed rugs when using tools. Reinsert wand into hose after using accessories. Fig. 1 When using accessories Turn air path selector knob to 'TOOLS' (Fig. 1). Hose with wand • Pull handle to release hose (Fig. 2). • Press power switch to turn vacuum on (I) (Fig. 3). • Pull out wand (Fig. 4). • Attach tool to end of wand. Stretch hose as needed (Fig. 5). • Press button to reinsert wand into hose (Fig. 6). Crevice tool Fig. 3 Use for baseboards, corners and furniture. Push crevice tool onto end of wand (Fig. 7). Dusting brush
Use for furniture, drapes and vents. Push
dusting brush onto end of wand (Fig. 5).
Stair and upholstery brush
(With some models or available for purchase)
Use for furniture and stairs (Fig. 7).
Make sure vacuum is below you, pushed
against the bottom step (Fig. 8).
Crevice tool
Use for baseboards, corners and furniture.
Push crevice tool onto end of wand (Fig. 7).
