Its compact size makes it ideal for rehearsal, backstage warm-up, and studio work. The "FAT" switch provides additional preamplifier boost and adds "Fender American Tube" warm distortion and can be activated from either the top panel or the optional footswitch. The Deco Tone's control panel is located on the top of the amplifier for easy access and the "chicken-head" knobs indicate all your control settings at a glance. Volume, Treble, Bass, Middle, Master, "FAT," and Reverb are all that's needed to get sounds from vintage clean to vicious growl from this versatile amp. The Fender Special Design 12" speaker is connected through a standard 1/4" jack allowing the choice of connecting your amp to the internal speaker or an external 8-ohm speaker cabinet.
