TAP HOLD FOR TUNER 123 To activate the onboard guitar tuner, press and hold the TAP button for 2 seconds. Strike a string on your guitar. The "A, B, C, D, E, F, G" LEDs indicate the nearest note. The "#" LED indicates a sharp note. Use the three LEDs below the TAP button for fine tuning. The red LEDs indicate the note is slightly flat or sharp and the green LED indicates the note is in tune. Press the TAP button to exit from the tuner. Anti-Feedback You can reduce microphone feedback at a troublesome frequency in the VOCAL channel using the adjustable anti-feedback feature. To select the anti-feedback frequency: 1. Press and hold the TUNER button for two seconds (this will activate Tuner mode for the INSTRUMENT channel). 2. Rotate the EFFECTS knob to locate the anti-feedback notch frequency that reduces microphone feedback the most (VOCAL channel). Rotate counter-clockwise to decrease the notch frequency and clockwise to increase the notch frequency. Rotate fully counterclockwise to turn the anti-feedback feature off. 3. Press the TUNER button to exit and save the anti-feedback frequency setting. Your custom anti-feedback setting is stored even after the amp is turned off. Aux/Phones Jacks AUX You can connect the headphone output on your MP3 player to the AUX jack on the Passport® mini using a standard 1/8" mini-stereo cable. Use the volume control on your player to control the auxiliary input level. Stereo signals from your player are output through the PHONES jack in stereo. PHONES Plug in yourAhUeXadphones, ear buds, or powered speakers to the PHONES jack to enjoy the Passport® mini in stereo. This jack may also be used as a stereo recording output. Use the INSTRUMENT and VOCAL channel volume controls to adjust the output level of the PHONES jack. The amp's speaker output is muted when the PHONES jack is used. mini USB Port PHONES AUX USB Connect the Passport® mini USB port to your computer to take your music to the next level: • Use Fender® FUSE™ software to view the details and fully customize presets and effects on your Passport® mini: http://fuse.fender.com • Record and edit Passport® mini audio using your favorite recording software. Use the INSTRUMENT and VOCAL volume controls to adjust the USB audio output level as needed. Battery Indicator BATTERY The BATTERY indicator on your Passport® mini will show the following states/battery conditions: • OFF: The unit is being powered through the power adapter. • GREEN: Battery powered, good charge. • YELLOW: Battery powered, limited charge. • BLINKING RED: Battery powered, replace batteries. Firmware Updates & Factory Restore From time to time, Fender may make available firmware updates for your Passport® mini amplifier to improve performance or to add new features. To update the firmware on your amplifier you will need to connect it through the USB port to a computer with an internet connection, running Fender® FUSE™ software. Hold down the TAP button while turning the unit on to initiate the firmware update. Anti-Feedback

Aux/Phones Jacks
AUX
You can connect the headphone output on your MP3 player
to the AUX jack on the Passport® mini using a standard 1/8"
mini-stereo cable. Use the volume control on your player to
control the auxiliary input level. Stereo signals from your
player are output through the PHONES jack in stereo.
PHONES
Plug in your headphones, ear buds, or powered speakers to
the PHONES jack to enjoy the Passport® mini in stereo. This
jack may also be used as a stereo recording output. Use the
INSTRUMENT and VOCAL channel volume controls to adjust
the output level of the PHONES jack. The amp's speaker
output is muted when the PHONES jack is used.

Use Fender® FUSE™
software to view the details and fully customize
presets and effects on your Passport® mini:
Record and edit Passport® mini audio using your favorite record-
ing software. Use the INSTRUMENT and VOCAL volume controls
to adjust the USB audio output level as needed.
Battery Indicator

The BATTERY indicator on your Passport® mini will show the

software. Hold down the TAP button while turning
the unit on to initiate the firmware update. You can also restore your
Passport® mini to the original factory settings if desired, using Fender®
FUSE™ .
