You can choose any fan speed you prefer. (Except "Auto Fan"). During this function, display will only show the actual room temperature and the set temperature can not be changed. YOU WILL SEE: DO THIS: PRESS MODE BUTTON CHOOSE COOL ECO (ENERGY SAVER) MODE: Note: In this mode, the fan remains on all the time with the compressor cycling on and off when room temperature is reached. The unit is factory set to run in eco (energy saver) mode. We recommend leaving the unit in eco mode to help save energy and money. However, if you would like to switch out of eco mode, touch the button until another mode is selected. In eco mode, the fan will continue to run for 3 minute after the compressor shuts off. The fan then cycles on for 90 seconds at 10 minute intervals until the room temperature is above the set temperature, at which time the compressor turns back on. This is mandatory per government regulations.
