Repairs should only be made by an authorized Garmin service center. Unauthorized repairs or modifications could void both the warranty and the pilot's authority to operate this device under FAA regulations. When the aircraft experiences changes in the airfoil shape (e.g., flap extension or icing accumulation), the AOA indicator may no longer accurately represent the angle of attack.
