Use the ROCKER KEYPAD and ENTER to select a Main Menu item. 50 Main Menu The Main Menu provides you with a directory of GPS V's features and unit settings. From the Main Menu you can mark new waypoints, find points of interest or cities, creates routes, save track logs, change unit settings, display a calendar, play games, and much more. Several of the Main Menu features are covered elsewhere in this manual. For additional information, see below or the page references shown at left. Time, date, battery level and backlight status are all indicated at the bottom of the Main Menu. The battery level is indicated on a battery icon that appears in the bottom right corner of the screen. The shaded portion of the battery indicates charge level. A fresh set of batteries should display a completely shaded (fully charged) battery. The lamp icon in the lower left corner of the page indicates backlighting level. When the backlight is off the lamp is shaded grey. When backlighting is on, the lamp icon turns white. To select a Main Menu feature: 1. Press MENU twice to display the Main Menu. 2. Main Menu
The Main Menu provides you with a directory of GPS V’s features and unit settings.
From the Main Menu you can mark new waypoints, find points of interest or cities,
creates routes, save track logs, change unit settings, display a calendar, play games, and
much more.
