Long-Term Storage When you do not plan to use the device for several months, remove the batteries. Stored data is not lost when batteries are removed. Caring for the Device NOTICE Avoid chemical cleaners and solvents which can damage plastic components. Device Information Never use a hard or sharp object to operate the touchscreen, or damage may result. Cleaning the Device 1. Dampen a clean cloth with a mild detergent solution. 2. Wipe the device with the damp cloth. 3. If necessary, use a soft toothbrush to gently clean the vent holes on the back of the device. 4. Thoroughly dry the device. Cleaning the Screen 1. Dampen a soft, clean, lint-free cloth with water, isopropyl alcohol, or eyeglass lens cleaner. 2. Wipe the screen with the cloth. 3. Thoroughly dry the screen. Montana 600 Series Owner's Manual 47
