The power cable must be plugged into your GPS navigator to receive traffic data. You must be in data range of an FM station transmitting TMC (Traffic Message Channel) data to receive traffic information. For coverage areas, refer to the Garmin Web site at www.garmin .com/traffic. Adding a Subscription You can purchase additional subscriptions and renew your subscription if it expires. Go to www .garmin.com/fmtraffic. Follow the instructions on the Web site to purchase and add the new subscription. You can also refer to your GPS navigator's owner's manual for specific instructions on adding a subscriptions The traffic subscription code cannot be reused. You must obtain a new code each time you renew your service. If you own multiple FM traffic receivers, you must obtain a new code for each receiver. Note: You do not need to activate the subscription included with your VIB 11 (if it came with one).
