Managing Files Managing Files You can store files, such as JPEG image files, in the internal memory on the nüvi or on a memory card. Note: The nüvi is not compatible with Windows® 95, 98, Me, Windows NT®, and Mac® OS 10.3 and earlier. Supported File Types • JPEG and JPG image files: see page 27 • Maps and GPX waypoint files from MapSource®: see page 49 monitors your computer USB ports and allows you to easily check for available updates. See page 52 for more information. 1. Insert a memory card (optional). Press it in until it clicks. 2. Connect the mini-USB connector to the back of the nüvi. 3. Connect the larger end of the cable to an available USB port on your computer. Connecting Your nüvi to
Your Computer
When you connect your nüvi to your
computer, you will see an option to
install myGarmin Agent
, which

and allows you to easily check for
