Data Management Connecting Your device to Your Computer 1. Connect the USB cable to a USB port on your computer. 2. Connect the micro-B connector to the device. An option to install myGarmin Agent™ appears. This service monitors your computer USB ports and allows you to easily check for available updates (page 63). micro-B connector 3. Connect the larger end of the cable to a USB port on your computer. Your device and memory card appear as removable drives in My Computer in Windows and as mounted volumes on Mac computers. NOTE: Some computers with multiple network drives cannot display nüvi drives. See your operating system Help file to learn how to map the drives. Transferring Files To Your Computer 1. Browse your computer for a file. 2. Highlight the file. 3. Click Edit > Copy. 4. Open the "Garmin" or memory card drive or volume. 5. Select Edit > Paste.
