TROUBLESHOOTING TIPS Troubleshooting tips ... Before you call for service Problem Excessive smoking during broiling Oven door will not open after a clean cycle Oven not clean after a clean cycle Possible Cause Food too close to burner element. Oven too hot. Oven controls improperly set. Oven was heavily soiled. "DOOR " flashes in the display "DOOR " light is on when you want to cook "F- and a number or letter" flash in the display The self-clean cycle has been selected but the door is not closed. "DOOR " will flash while the oven door is locking to start self-clean and steam clean. The oven door is locked because the temperature inside the oven has not dropped below the locking temperature.
