The dryer will use more energy and run longer if it is not vented to the below specifications. Carefully follow the details on Exhausting in the Installation Instructions. I Use only rigid metal 4″ diameter ductwork inside the dryer cabinet. Use only rigid metal or flexible metal 4″ diameter ductwork for exhausting to the outside. I Do not use plastic or other combustible ductwork. I Use the shortest length possible. I Do not crush, kink or collapse the duct. I Avoid resting the duct on sharp objects.
