Problem Interior light does not work Food is freezing in the refrigerator Possible Causes No power at outlet. Light bulb burned out. Food too close to the air vent at the back of the refrigerator. Refrigerator control is set too cold. Rust, tarnish, or grime on stainless steel doors Moist environment or salt air. What To Do Replace fuse or reset the breaker. See Replacing the light bulb. Move the food away from the air vent. Move the refrigerator control to a warmer temperature setting one increment at a time. See About the controls. Clean stainless steel with cleaners containing oxalic acid (e.g. Bar Keepers Friend Soft Cleanser) will remove rust, lime,and other tarnish. Do not wipe the refrigerator with a soiled dish cloth or wet towel.
