What To Do • Dispense water until all water in system is replenished. Normal when refrigerator is first installed. • Wait 24 hours for the refrigerator to completely cool down. Water dispenser has not been used for a long time. • Dispense water until all water is system is replenished. Water system has been drained. • Allow several hours for replenished supply to chill. Water supply line turned off or not connected. Water filter clogged. Air may be trapped in the water system. Water in reservoir is frozen because the controls are set too cold. •See Installing the water line. •Replace filter cartridge or remove filter and install plug. •Press the dispenser arm for at least 2 minutes. •Set the refrigerator control to a warmer setting and wait 24 hours. If water does not dispense after 24 hours, call for service. Newly-installed filter cartridge. •Run 11⁄2 gallons from the dispenser to clear the system. Supply line or shut-off valve is clogged. Water filter clogged. Filter cartridge not properly installed. Glass not being held under the dispenser long enough after button is released. Air may be present in the water line system, causing water to drip after being dispensed. •Call a plumber. •Replace filter cartridge or remove filter and install plug. • Remove and reinstall filter cartridge, being certain that it locks into place. The blade on the end of the cartridge should be positioned vertically. • Hold the glass underneath the dispenser for 2-3 seconds after releasing the dispenser button.
