SETTING FUNCTION Lock set up The TV set can lock tuning, preset program, AV, game and child lock items, if you need to lock them, you can set as following procedure. 1.Press [LOCK] button, and OSD is as the right figure. LOCK SET UP PASSWORD: ---- 2.Press "0" button directly for four times (or press the four-digit password you LOCK SET UP have changed) to enter CHANGE PW. LOCK SETUP menu. TUNING LOCK PRESET PROG. OFF OFF AV LOCK OFF GAME LOCK OFF CHILD LOCK OFF 3.Press [CH+/-] buttons to MAX.VOLUME OFF select "TUNING LOCK" UNLOCK item, and press [-VOL+] buttons to select "ON" or "OFF". CHANGE PW: NEW PW: ---- Note: 1.When the tuning lock is on, you should enter password to enter the tuning menu, meanwhile you cannot exchange the program and press 1 button to enter auto search. 2. You can set the default program of on timer by using the function of preset program. 3.When the AV lock is on, the AV terminal is invalid, at this time, the screen become black screen and remind that it is locked, the TV set in mute status. 4.When the child lock is on, the screen will remind that it is in CHILD LOCK status if you press the buttons of the TV set, and the buttons of this TV set are invalid. 5.When the game lock is on, the [GAME] button on the remote controller is invalid. 6. The max volume lock can restrict the max volume of the TV set, if you set the volume lock 50, the max volume of the TV set is 50, when you press [VOL+] button to adjust the volume value that is over 50, the volume will not change with it any more. 21
