Basic Operation The appliance must stand on a flat even surface. If the appliance is to be placed on a carpet, support the appliance on a solid wooden board. If the appliance is placed directly on the carpet, the high-temperature compressor may cause color fading of the carpet. Stop using the appliance if a tingling sensation is felt when it is touched. Note: Produce in the chiller may freeze if: The appliance must be properly earthed, especially in an area with high humidity. When first using this appliance: 1. Clean the inner compartment with warm soapy water. 2. After 2 or 3 hours of non-load operation, - The temperature regulator is set too high. - In winter when the ambient temperature is lower than 5oC. the inner compartment will be cold enough and ready for food storage.
