Operation COOL, HEAT and DRY operation Recommendations: • Use COOL in summer. • Use HEAT in winter. • Use DRY in spring, autumn and in damp climate. (1) To start the unit Press ON/OFF button. Unit starts. Previous operation status appears on display. ( Timer setting will not appear on display) Power indicator on indoor unit lights up. (2) Select operation mode Press MODE button. (3) Select TEMP setting Press TEMP. button. In HEAT mode, a cold-draft prevention function feature will cause a kind of delay in the blower start-up. ' COOL operation starts when room temp. is higher than TEMP setting. .1 V TEMP setting+4°F Ultra-low air flow In DRY mode, when room temperature becomes 4°F TEMP setting higher than temperature setting, unit will run intermittently at LO speed regardless of FAN setting. On reaching TEMP setting,unit-" will run in mild DRY mode. Notes: Heating mode is not available on cool-only models. Remote Control will keep MODE settings in memory. 8
